İlyas Koç honed his craft as a furrier during his formative years in Vienna, where he developed a deep understanding of the trade. Returning to Istanbul, he was inspired by the vibrant energy and bustling commerce of the Grand Bazaar. Recognizing its potential as a hub for his ambitions, he decided to settle there, working diligently to refine his skills and save enough to open his own store.
From the very beginning, İlyas Koç brought a spirit of innovation to the leather industry. Observing a lack of creativity in the market, he began experimenting with new styles, colors, and techniques. His bold and unconventional designs broke traditional molds, quickly gaining recognition and admiration. These pioneering creations not only set Koç Leather apart but also laid the foundation for a legacy of excellence and innovation that continues to this day.
